2010 edition of China Pharmacopoeia was formally implemented on July 1, 2010, and the 2015 edition of China Pharmacopoeia is put on the agenda. On February 2, 2010, during the third committee meeting of the 9th pharmacopoeia commission, it was proposed that the 2015 edition of China Pharmacopoeia should be prepared based on the experience of 2010 edition of China Pharmacopoeia.
During the meeting, the specialized committees on Chinese traditional medicines, biochemical medicine, virus, biological standardization, Chinese medicine from the 9th pharmacopoeia commission proposed the following advices on 2015 edition of China Pharmacopoeia: to develop assay test methods for Chinese traditional medicines; to enhance the quality control of intermediates for biological product, to perfect the test methods and the standardization; to establish the test methods for active and toxicity drugs with high risk; to establish a scientific selection mechanism; to strength the communication and cooperation with foreign regulatory authorities be responsible for the establishment of drug standard.
