Recently, CCPC organized successfully an emergency rescue practice on production safety accident in 2010. This practice was aim at a simulative leakage accident of hazardous chemicals resulted in poisoning of two operators and bruising of one operator when evacuating. This practice is for the purpose of improving safety consciousness, enhancing the ability of emergency response for staffs and practicability of emergency, etc. During the practice, the participants took it seriously and could take actions quickly and orderly, the leader of each department made the reasonable arrangement to ensure the success of this practice.
The deficiencies in the routine safety management were found during this practice. As an enterprise engaged in hazardous chemicals manufacturing, CCPC will improve safety consciousness, request the operators to operate as per related SOPs, pay attention to safety during maintenance and put accident prevention such as fire, explosion, leakage and poisoning in the first. Also, employees should be trained on safety knowledge and skills to ensure their ability of handling sudden accident, to be improved. This will make more and more people concern safety and cherish the life.
